Jeremy Piven Shows This Weekend at Helium

Jeremy Piven has returned to his stand up roots and has two shows this weekend at Helium. He will perform at 7:30pm and 10pm this Friday and Saturday night. The show will be directed by Michael Lehmann and is produced by the Laugh Factory. Jeremy Piven has been acting since the early 1980s. He grew up in Evanston, Illinois and trained at the Chicago theater Piven Theatre Workshop, which was founded by his parents. He later attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and then New York’s Tisch School of the Arts.

He has starred in more than 30 films and has appeared in over a dozen TV shows including the Larry

Sanders Show as head writer Jerry, American Night opposite Oscar nominee Bruce Dern, Paz Vega, and Legit Wiseguy with Palme d’Or winner Roland Joffe. Piven is best known for his role as talent agent Ari Gold on HBO’s Entourage which ran for eight seasons winning him three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. He currently stars as Harry Gordon Selfridge on the period drama series Mr. Selfridge on BBC 1.
